Our annual Funds Congress, which we host with Dechert & PwC, took place in London last week.

Funds Congress is about bringing the asset management industry together for a day of expert analysis, thought provoking opinions, and new industry insights. It’s about connecting and reconnecting with industry partners and friends.

Our guest speakers from outside the industry always strike a chord and this year was no different. Bryony Gordon shared her experience of dealing with addiction, OCD, and handling online abuse. Her openness, honesty, and vulnerability really resonated, with the audience asking lots of questions followed by a book signing that lasted beyond lunch.

Rory Stewart and Alastair Campbell informed and entertained, with a stage edition of their podcast “The Rest is Politics”, followed by an audience Q&A. A wonderful mix of sobering facts, unfiltered opinion, audience polls and lighthearted quips.

The day was expertly hosted by Kirsty Wark, who used her experience, wit, and wisdom, in seamlessly guiding the speakers and audience through the day.

The feedback from our 1300 attendees has been fantastic with many calling it “the best one yet” and the “must attend industry conference”.
